I-Tip hair extensions, what is it exactly?

It is a hair extension method that is fixed using small rings (connectors) that are inserted onto a strand of hair with a hook and then flattened using a special extension pliers so that it stays on the natural hair. We recommend I-Tip extensions for people with normal to thick hair types.

There are several I-Tip hair extension methods available. Here, we will discuss the I-Tip extensions called Ring Extensions and Easy Loop Extensions. These I-Tip extensions are safe for hair as there is no heat source or adhesive required. Additionally, they do not require any products for removal, making them the most natural method.

Techniques for Applying I-Tip Extensions:

Firstly, the intervention of a professional is necessary for the application of I-Tip hair extensions. Let's talk about the different methods of I-Tip extension installation. As we mentioned earlier, we will focus on the installation of Ring Extensions and Easy Loop I-Tip extensions.

I-Tip extensions are fixed using silicone rings (connectors). To apply the extension, you need to use a hook to insert a strand of hair into the ring and then flatten it with a special extension pliers. It takes about 2 hours to install I-Tip extensions. To remove them, simply use the same extension pliers that were used to flatten the ring to unscrew it. This method allows for the reuse of extension strands by simply changing the connectors (rings).

As for the Easy Loop extension, the process is almost the same but faster. In fact, only 1 hour is required for installation. This method involves inserting a strand of hair into the ring, pulling the plastic loop to insert your hair into the connector, and finally flattening the ring with the special hair extension pliers. Although the installation is faster, Easy Loop extensions cannot be reused (single installation).

Please note that for both installation methods, the result will last from 2 to 4 months, depending on the speed of natural hair growth and the maintenance you perform. You will also have the option to color, straighten, or curl the extensions. However, we strongly advise against bleaching the hair strands.

How to maintain I-Tip Extensions properly :

The maintenance of your I-Tip extensions is the same as for other types of extensions (keratin, tape-in). For this, we recommend using shampoos specifically designed for natural extensions. Products containing parabens, sulfates, and silicones should be avoided. Discover our products specially designed for the maintenance of extensions.
