How many tape-in extensions do I need?
For a volume or added length effect (depending on your hair density): about 20 tapes, equal to 1 pack.
For a full head: 40 to 60 tapes, equal to 2 to 3 packs.
How to apply tape-in extensions?
For a secure, long-lasting hold, follow these application tips:
- Preparation: Wash and thoroughly dry your hair before application. After installation, wait 24–48 hours before the first wash to let the adhesive set.
- Application: Using a tail comb, isolate a thin section (0.5–1 cm). Thicker sections can compromise adhesion.
- Bonding: Place one tape under the section, then another on top to “sandwich” your natural hair.
- Final step: Press the tapes together firmly to expel air and secure the bond.
- Reusable: Reuse the extensions by removing the used adhesive and replacing it with a new one.
How to care for your extensions?
Maintain softness and shine with hydrating care such as nourishing masks or lightweight oils. Always apply a heat protectant before styling, and tie your hair at night to prevent friction and tangles.
